White Balance Information: These cameras are unable to set an in-camera custom infrared white balance due to Hasselblad Natural Color Solution tuning. A white balance can also not be set using the Phocus software editor. You will have to use either Photoshop, Lightroom, or another editor that can accept infrared white balances and Hasselblad RAW files.

Sony Mirrorless Full Spectrum Conversion

Note: The Sony A7C, A7C II, A7CR, A7S II, A7R II, A7R III and A9 use an IR LED as part of their electronic shutter monitor. Once these models are converted to IR, the internal IR LED will contaminate all images shot at exposures greater than 1 second.

Note: The Sony A7 IV, A7R IV, and A7R V use an IR LED as part of the electronic shutter monitor. Once these models are converted to IR, Full Spectrum, or H-alpha, the internal IR LED will possibly contaminate all images shot at exposures greater than 1 second.  However, it only fails on electronic shutter.  For mechanical shutter or for e-first curtain, they do not have a problem! Tested at 6,400ISO for 30 seconds with the Long Exposure NR setting turned on.

Note: The Panasonic GH6 and GH7 have an internal IR light leak. Once these models are converted, the internal IR light leak will contaminate all images shot at exposures greater than 1 second and possibly contaminate images made with faster shutter speeds if the ISO is over ISO 640 and you image in a low-light environment. 

However this only fails for stills! This does not impact video recording, tested at ISO 12,800.

Note: The 6D Card Reader LED emits a leak that is especially visible in long exposures, if you would like this removed just let us know!

The 6Dmk2 unfortunately has a problem with an internal light source with all long exposures at an 800 ISO and higher that we cannot correct.  The 6Dmk2 does not convert well for long exposures.

Important: The Nikon Zf does have an internal light source that contaminates long exposures of 1 second or greater if the mechanical or electronic first curtain shutter is used.

If the electronic shutter is used the contamination is not present. Tested at ISO 6400 for 30 seconds.

Nikon DSLR Full Spectrum Conversion

With this conversion service we will replace the internal hot mirror filter with a high quality custom made full spectrum glass filter. This will allow your camera to capture UV, IR and visible light all at once. For best results you will need to use our external filters in front of the lens to selectively choose one of the 3 light spectrums.

Important:   The D750 has an internal IR light source that affects long exposures.  However, below are all the methods for overcoming the problem. 
 
1. With Mup it’s good.
2. With Mup and a 1 sec delay it is good.
3. With Mup and a 3 sec delay it is good.
4. With Single shot and a 3 sec delay it is good.
5. With live view and Mup it is good.
6. With live view and a 1 sec delay it is good.
 
Important:   The D780 does have an internal light source that contaminates longer exposures through the optical viewfinder.  However, there is no problem doing long exposures through live view if “Silent shooting for live view” is selected in the menu!
