According to recent reports, Canon, Nikon and Sony are the only three camera companies predicted to survive the Smart Phone revolution. Sales of small point n shoot cameras have declined, and sales of mirrorless cameras have not met expectations. As more and more people opt for using their smartphones, companies like Fujifilm, Panasonic, and Olympus are not doing well. If the predictions are true, we will be left with basically two types of cameras; DSLRs and Smartphones.
