I travel quite a bit for work, usually in areas where there are a lot of old barns, abandoned tractors, buildings, etc… Lifepixel modded my old D800 to deep IR (830nm) and it works fantastic for specific kinds of photos. Photography has always been a hobby and the IR often gives me the opportunity to create a compelling image in situations/locations visible light won’t.
