Abbe

Abbe is a Creative Director, writer and photographer in Northern California. She has been a professional photographer for over 15 years, and has taught corporate groups and individuals in the art of still photography, and how to process using Lightroom and Photoshop. She is a private pilot, and an advocate for the safe use of drones as a form of creative expression. She loves to teach how to safely fly and capture the optimum images from the sky.  She is enjoying teaching workshops on how to safely fly and capture the optimum images from the sky. During the last year, she has expanded her interest in the many benefits of using sUAVs, specifically for the creation of 3D maps for forensic visualization.

The London Blog – Perspective in IR

I recently returned from the UK, where I love being a visitor in my homeland. A great delight for me is capturing a different perspective of buildings and sites that I previously took for granted. This is something I highly recommend as a photographer. Take time to be tourists, whether visiting new locations, or just […]

Starting with mastering the camera controls, to editing in various software platforms, the fear factor exists for many. How do you decide which image is worthy? Are you influenced by the opinions others? Are you afraid to break […]

Cultivating the Creative

Cultivating the Creative

As photographers, we are constantly trying to perfect our art. We take time to meticulously study the rules, decide when to break them, and for the most part are our worst critics. This has been known to dampen our intuitively creative nature. What do you do to rejuvenate your creative side? There have been many […]
