Unfortunately, most Sony full frame sensor mirrorless cameras that are converted to H-alpha or to Full Spectrum have the potential to exhibit edge distortion and soft focus in the edges with lenses wider than 35mm, especially at larger apertures. While this potentially occurs with native Sony lenses, the problem can be exacerbated by using aftermarket and/or adapted lenses. Stopping down to f/5.6 or smaller can help with this.

Note: The Panasonic GH7 has an internal IR light leak. Once this model is converted, the internal IR light leak will contaminate all images shot at exposures greater than 1 second and possibly contaminate images made with faster shutter speeds if the ISO is over ISO 640 and you image in a low-light environment.

However this only fails for stills! This does not impact video recording, tested at ISO 12,800.
